• Transported 1,888 shipments/ 3,776 containers of Silos 1 and Silos 2 11 e2 uranium source materials from Fernald Closure Project in Fernald, OH to Waste Control Specialists in Andrews, TX
• Provided 177 custom-designed trailers, including 354 specially fabricated and installed tie-down assemblies
• Provided and Maintained 105 tractors and 117 dedicated drivers to this specific campaign
• Provided project specific training, first responder training, public outreach support, and 24 hour tracking/monitoring. 
• Shipped up to 96 shipments per week

Fluor Fernald, Inc. – Oversized Contaminated Equipment Transportation Management, Fernald, Ohio

• Assisted in the characterization, packaging, shipping documentation, transport, and oversight during final phase of shutdown activities.  Over 100 shipments of oversize equipment were shipped for decontamination or reuse.
• Excess large equipment included dozers, excavators, etc. Many required overweight/oversize permits per Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• VS provided a solution to packaging that utilized shrink wrap and a spray coating that met requirements as an IP-I package
