Set up protocols and an onsite radioanalytical lab, accurately assessing soil radioactivity levels within a 72-hour window.
Analysis conducted created a preliminary segregation for final disposition of debris and soil as it was excavated.
Lab includes gamma-photon and alpha spectroscopy systems, liquid scintillation counter, gas proportional alpha/beta counters, sample receipt preparation area, fume hood with H.E.P.A. ventilation, counting room with shielded sample chambers, administrative offices, and associated laboratory storage and support equipment (i.e., weight scales, RAM safe, computers, vials, beakers, sample containers, etc.)
